Sweet dough, ripe fruit and a low rumble of gas: Apple Drops sits squarely at the bakery end of the Grounded Genetics catalogue.
The mother is a Fritter Licker cut, Archive's cross of Apple Fritter and Face Off OG Bx2, a plant the breeder prizes for its biomass and resin. Grounded Genetics pollinated her with RS11, the Pink Guava x OZ Kush line behind its RS11 hybrids series, and first showed the cross at Spannabis in 2024.
The breeder describes deep, layered bakery notes: sweet dough and rich, dessert-like tones, with sweet fruit stacked over an earthy fuel base. The smoke is reported as smooth and powerful.
Grounded Genetics has not yet published an effects profile, and grower reports are still sparse because the line is so new. That makes this a pack for collectors who like to hold a release before the wider world has settled on what it does.
The breeder reports that most plants finish in about nine weeks, with average to high yields and the heavy resin and leafy vigour inherited from the mother. It is listed for indoor or outdoor rooms, though height and stretch figures have not been published. With a Face Off OG grandparent on one side and RS11 on the other, expect some variation across a pack, and keepers worth hunting for.
