91 Bananas by Night Owl Seeds

Banana bread, chem funk and a curl of sweet burnt rubber are not flavours you expect from an autoflower, which is exactly why this one caught our eye.

Night Owl is the side label where Daz of Mephisto Genetics chases stranger ideas. For this cross he picked the mother from twelve Chem 91 Auto F3 females, choosing her for chem funk, greasy resin, a stocky frame and a strong effect, then paired her with a Banana OG Auto F3 reversal, an indica-heavy selection that stays a touch shorter than its siblings. The name first appeared on a regular release in 2022; this feminised version returns to the banana and chem pairing from two F3 auto lines.

Expect mouth-coating banana over chem, gassy banana bread and a sweet rubber note that lingers, a heavier and deeper profile than most of the fruit-led autos around it.

The breeder forecasts a heavy, sedative effect, mostly down to the Chem 91 mother. Night Owl pitches it squarely as an evening strain.

Both parent lines were chosen for dense, resin-coated flowers, and the Banana OG reversals held their own weight without staking. The breeder figure is 75 to 85 days from sprout to harvest, indoors or out, with a yield of 2 to 4 ounces.

Night Owl Seeds began in 2014 as a side project for Daz of Mephisto Genetics and has built its following on unusual autoflower crosses and distinctive aromas, from St. Expeditus to Tropical Wiz.
