The breeder rates White Strawberry Skunk among the fruitiest cannabis ever bred, and a cracked jar of strawberries and cream makes the case.
Its roots are Swiss. The line is built on Erdbeer, the German word for strawberry, an old plant from the Swiss scene, and Green House describes resin so dense it recalls White Widow. It sits at an even 50/50 split.
Unburned, the buds smell sweet, fruity and almost creamy. The smoke tastes of strawberry and tropical fruit over a mossy, skunky, earthy base, so it never turns into candy.
The effect creeps in slowly and lingers. The breeder calls it mild and complex, first in the body, then lifting into something more cerebral and social, and reports it as useful for brightening a low mood.
This is a medium-tall plant with 10 to 15 cm internodes and long branches, so outdoor plants usually need support, and growers have reported single plants near 2.4 m with very heavy harvests. It prefers moderate feeding. Buds form large and irregular under a thick coat of resin. The breeder gives 8 to 9 weeks indoors for up to 800 g per square metre, and about nine weeks outdoors.
