The name is a pun, and the marriage is between two of the best washers in the Common Wealth garden.
On one side is Wedding Pie, the Wedding Cake x Grape Pie cut the breeder chose for its strong, well-built frame and its reliable resin. On the other is Grape Sunshine, the Secret Lemon x Tallymon clone the breeder calls a tropical hash dumper, which has washed at eight to nine per cent in Oregon. The aim was to keep the Wedding Pie structure and add Grape Sunshine's fruit, and the breeder reports the cross landed as hoped.
This is a grape-first strain. The breeder describes a heavily grape-forward flavour, with the Grape Sunshine side able to add hints of banana and sweet gas.
Common Wealth has not published effect notes, and grower reports are still scarce. With Wedding Cake in the mother and Dosidos in Grape Sunshine's background, a relaxed, dessert-style hybrid is the likely reading, but that is lineage rather than a breeder claim.
Expect big, very chunky purple buds that set dense on a sturdy frame inherited from the mother. The breeder rates the yield medium to high for indoor or outdoor growing and notes strong hash returns, but has not given a flowering time.
