Sour Irene OG has lived as a clone in the Archive Seed Bank collection, and U.V. Sour is a rare chance to hold it in seed form.
The mother is Archive's sour twist on the Irene OG, a cut with classic OG Kush character. Common Wealth crossed it with Grape Sunshine, the Secret Lemon x Tallymon clone that has returned around nine per cent in ice water hash, which puts it among the most talked-about washing cuts in Oregon right now. The result is pitched squarely at hash makers.
The nose runs gassy and grapey, with an odd, hard to place fruit, a little earth and a sweet finish once the fuel fades.
Common Wealth has published no effect notes, and grower reports are still few. An OG mother usually signals a heavier, relaxing hybrid, though that is the family talking rather than the breeder.
Plan for height: the breeder describes the plants as very stretchy, which suits outdoor beds and growers used to training OGs indoors. Flowering runs eight to ten weeks with a medium to high yield. The real prize is in the resin, with big, bulbous heads that the breeder says wash well and melt cleanly.
