For years Trainwreck lived only as a clone: an Arcata, California, cut passed between growers and known for its stink and for how fast it lands.
Green House Seed Co. took that original cutting and reversed it, so every seed in the pack carries the same mother forward in feminised form. That is the appeal for collectors: a famous clone-only plant held as seed, rather than a modern remake under an old name.
The nose is pine and damp earth with a musky, skunky edge and a hint of strawberry, and growers pick up pepper on the exhale. The taste follows the aroma and stays in the mouth well after the smoke is gone.
The breeder's own line is that it hits fast and hits hard: a bright, creative start, then a heavy body stone and a trippy, slightly confusing head. Users report it for stress, pain and appetite, and most save it for the evening.
This is a stretchy, vine-like plant that roughly doubles in size after the switch to flower, and the breeder notes its thin branches need firm support. Breeder figures give eight to ten weeks of bloom and around 500 to 700 g/m² indoors, with outdoor harvests from early to mid October. Late in flower the calyxes stack into towers, the buds turn rock-hard and lime green under heavy resin, and the smell is strong enough that good carbon filtration matters.
