Common Wealth calls this one of the best washers in its whole Thornberry line, and the mother explains why.
Wedding Pie, the Wedding Cake x Grape Pie cut, has tested above six per cent in the breeder's own wash runs, which made it the obvious base for a resin hybrid. The pollen came from Wild Thornberry, a strawberry-led cross of Strawnana and Animal Face Kush Mints with some gas behind the fruit. It is the same pairing that produced the mother of Thornberry Thicket, so collectors of the line will recognise the family.
The breeder flags heavy grape plants in the mix. Records for the strain add sweet strawberry, darker fruit and a fizzy, gassy edge underneath.
No effect notes have been published by Common Wealth yet. With Wedding Cake and Animal Face in the background, the family points to a dense, evening-leaning hybrid, but read that as lineage rather than a claim from the breeder.
This is a vigorous plant that stretches a little more than its Thornberry siblings, so give it headroom indoors. The breeder lists a medium to high yield and indoor or outdoor growing, and strain records put flowering at around eight to ten weeks. Plants are selected as much for what they leave in the sieve as in the jar.
