According to its breeder, Thai Chee smells of blueberry cola, and its mother is a plant nobody outside Ultra Genetics can buy.
That mother is Blueberry Cola, an unreleased house selection. The father is Dark Side Cheese, which pairs the Bright Side Cheese cut with Shiva the Destroyer, another unreleased line built from Critical Bilbao and the breeder's own Shiva Dynamite. So a pack of Thai Chee is one of the few ways to hold genetics that have never been sold on their own.
The jar is all fizzy blueberry soda on top, with the Cheese side pushing a pungent, savoury funk underneath. The breeder says the terps stand apart from anything else it has smelled, and growers note sweet fruit set against an earthy bite.
Ultra Genetics has not yet published detailed effect notes. With 70 per cent indica in the mix and Shiva the Destroyer behind the father, expect it to sit more in the body than the head.
Yield is the headline in the garden: the breeder lists it as very high and talks of gigantic harvests. Flowering runs nine to ten weeks, and it suits indoor or outdoor growing. A six pack of feminised seed keeps every plant in play.
