Tangie Ghost Train by Little Chief Collabs

This is where Little Chief Collabs began: its very first project, and a meeting of two of the loudest sativa lines of the last fifteen years.

On one side sits Tangie, the tangerine-scented line from DNA Genetics and Reserva Privada that revived the old Tangerine Dream style of citrus. On the other is Ghost Train Haze #1 from Colorado's Rare Dankness, a frost-caked haze hybrid that built its name on raw strength. The aim was simple: Tangie's nose with Ghost Train's power.

Tangerine leads, as you would hope, sweet and peely, while the Ghost Train side pulls a line of fuel through the citrus. Some growers describe it as mandarin with a hint of petrol, and the published terpene notes name myrcene and limonene.

Users describe a bright, euphoric and very cerebral high that arrives with energy and softens into calm after an hour or so. It is a daytime or early evening choice, and the breeder's notes stress that it is rich in THC, so a little goes a long way.

Expect tall, vigorous plants that nearly double in height once flowering starts, so the breeder advises a trellis or stakes for the branches. Flowering runs 9 to 10 weeks, fast for a haze cross, with medium to high yields of compact buds coated in silver trichomes and lit with orange pistils. It suits indoor rooms and warm temperate or Mediterranean summers outdoors.
