A citrus haze from the East Coast meets a Colorado OG stud, and the jar smells like a tangerine peeled over a bag of kush.

Rare Dankness crossed Tangerine Haze with Rare Dankness #1, the male built from Ghost OG, Chemdawg and Triangle Kush that also sired Scott's OG. The haze brings the fruit, the male brings resin, density and a proper OG backbone. The breeder ranks it among the finest tasting OGs in its catalogue, and it has since been used to make newer crosses such as Strawberry Jacuzzi.

Dank, juicy tangerine comes first on the inhale, then a spicy, kushy exhale that sits on the tongue. Users also pick up orange peel, pine and a sweet note close to iced tea.

The breeder's description is a soaring high, and users tell of a quick, bright lift that settles into heavy, easy calm. Medical users report it for stress and everyday aches, which makes it a natural choice for late afternoon or evening.

In the garden it leans indica, roughly 70/30, with a little stretch once flowering starts. Buds pack in tight and red-haired, and the breeder calls it a medium yielder that finishes in 60 to 70 days, indoors or out. Resin is the real draw: Rare Dankness singles it out for hash and extract work.
