Big Bud's bulk and Skunk #1's sweetness, packed into a short, branchy plant designed to fill every corner of the room.

Green House Seed Co. made Super Bud from two old production lines: Big Bud, known above all for weight, and Skunk #1, valued for its sweet, steady character. It has earned its keep in the catalogue for years, and it later became one half of the house's own Super Critical, which tells you how much the breeder rates it.

The breeder sums up the bouquet as sweet and fruity, a friendly, rounded profile rather than a loud or sharp one.

Users describe a gentle, anxiety-easing euphoria at the start that slides into a calm, heavy body feel; the breeder calls the physical side almost narcotic. Medical users report it for appetite and for evenings when sleep is slow to come.

Plants stay short, branchy and compact, so they sit happily in a sea of green or under a screen, and the breeder pitches it at beginners and commercial rooms alike. Breeder figures give about eight weeks of bloom indoors and up to 900 g/m². Outdoors it prefers low humidity, finishing by late September in the northern hemisphere with up to 1,000 g a plant. One phenotype runs short and fast, which suits growers working to a tight schedule.
