Zmoothiez named this one after the way it looks in late flower: a whole plant glazed in resin, like something dipped in sugar.

The French breeder started from a keeper cut of Locomotion, Subcool's Blue City Diesel x Timewreck, a line with Blueberry, NYC Diesel and Trainwreck in its roots. It then hit that mother with reversed pollen from Orange Nectar, the Orange Cream Sicle x Black Hindu Kush hybrid behind much of its catalogue. Sugar Tree sits in the Candy'z collection, and the breeder says it was tested across several full cycles before release.

The breeder describes sweet candied orange over a deep, earthy, musky base, with a streak of gas and a mixed-berry sweetness that lingers on the exhale.

The breeder's effect notes are short: a deep, relaxing, properly stoned high. With a 70% indica lean, it is better suited to evenings than to anything that needs focus.

Plants grow medium to large with a strong frame and plenty of lateral branching, so there is room to spread them out. Flowers form big, very compact colas thick with oversized trichomes, which is where the name and the reputation for resin come from. The breeder gives 55 to 65 days of flowering and 400 to 500 g/m2 indoors, and lists it for outdoor and greenhouse growing too.
