Ripe strawberry, oversized flowers and resin fit for the extraction bench: Strawberry Jacuzzi was bred to make a jar smell like a summer fruit stall.
Rare Dankness built it from Tangerine Kush and Longs Peak Blue, two of its own Colorado lines, then folded in a measure of Afghan landrace. The breeder has since retired the strain, which makes a sealed pack a genuine find for anyone collecting the Rare Dankness catalogue.
Strawberry dominates, sweet and slightly fizzy, with a light kush base and a faint trace of tangerine from the Tangerine Kush side.
Growers report a head buzz first, then a slow slide into deep physical relaxation and a quiet mind, which suits the evening. The breeder singles it out as a strain that makes outstanding concentrates.
This is a plant for experienced hands. The breeder says the huge, trichome-heavy flowers need plenty of light, space and strong air movement, and that it prefers a dry, slightly warm climate; growers add that the big main colas need watching for grey mould in humid rooms. Flowering runs 65 to 75 days by the breeder's figure, with high yields.
