Two purple bloodlines meet a skunky old cut, and the plants come back in every shade from emerald to magenta.
Conscious Genetics built Red Kachina 2.0 from its own Pink Wafers and Red Kachina work, a family known for solid purple plants and loud tropical orange aromatics. For Red Lotus the breeder crossed it with Shoreline, which brings a skunky, floral earthiness to anchor all that fruit. It belongs to the breeder's run of red-named releases, each one testing how far colour and smell can be pushed at the same time.
Open a jar and the breeder's notes hold up: sweet tropical fruit and citrus peel sitting over a musky, pungent funk, with damp earth, flowers and a faint thread of gas coming through behind.
The breeder's description is of an uplifting, cerebral high that loosens conversation and creative thinking rather than pinning you to the sofa. It is pitched for daytime or an easy evening, and the cross is too new for reliable user or medical reports.
Expect variety in a pack of seven. Some plants run tall and open, others stay short and stocky with an indica frame. Flowering takes around nine weeks indoors or out, the breeder rates the yield medium to above medium, and the best plants finish in deep purple, green and magenta under a heavy coat of resin.

Conscious Genetics set out to prove that deep purple strains need not lack aroma, building on rare purple genetics from US breeder Annunaki Genetics.
