Purple Banana Cream by T.H. Seeds

Banana, grape and gelato on the nose, with buds so dense the breeder tells you to support the branches.

T.H. Seeds built this cross on a Banana Punchsicle mother from Johe710, a plant already rich in colour and fruit, and paired her with their own French Macaron to push resin and bud quality further. Banana Punchsicle carries Banana OG and Purple Punch, while French Macaron brings Gelato 33 and French Cookies. It is California dessert breeding, made in Amsterdam and released as feminised seed after steady demand from growers.

Open a jar and ripe banana comes first, then purple grape and a soft, creamy gelato finish. It stays sweet from start to end, with none of the fuel or earth found in heavier hybrids.

The breeder describes a potent, uplifting opening that gives way to a strong, relaxing body effect, which makes it an end-of-day strain. Pain relief sits in the breeder's own effects list, and growers report a fast body onset with a happy, mellow head.

Rated easy and resilient in tough conditions, this 60 percent indica stays compact in veg and stretches little in flower. The breeder advises topping once or twice or running a screen, plus good airflow around the very dense colas. Expect 500 to 600 g/m² in 8 to 9 weeks on plants of 110 to 150 cm, with heavy resin that makes it a strong candidate for hash.

T.H. Seeds has been breeding in Amsterdam since 1993, and began as the C.I.A., or Cannabis In Amsterdam, an information centre that author Robert C. Clarke called Europe's first seed shop.
