Pistachio gelato on a biscuit base, a nut-forward dessert in a catalogue crowded with fruit.
T.H. Seeds crossed a Biscotti hybrid with their own French Macaron, the Gelato 33 x French Cookies line, chasing what they called the complete package, and they now count Pisthash among the house favourites. With Gelato and OG roots on the Biscotti side and French Cookies on the other, the whole family tree leans creamy. The first 710 packs went out as numbered specials.
Kushy toasted almond and pistachio lead the nose, finished by a smooth, cake-like sweetness that stays on the tongue long after the exhale, and growers report the aroma deepening in the jar.
Breeder notes list a happy, creative mood, a relaxed mind and body and a warm buzz, with a reported pull on the appetite. Balanced rather than heavy, it is suggested for almost any hour, and that appetite note is the one users mention most.
Pisthash is forgiving and stress-resistant, and the breeder recommends it to newer growers. It can run tall, but an early flip keeps it compact, and it responds well to topping and a SCROG, finishing at 120 to 160 cm with good light reaching the lower branches. Flowering takes 8 to 9 weeks for 500 to 600 g per square metre, and the tight, resinous buds may need two or three extra days of drying before jarring.
