Three letters, Not For Sale, and Archive admits the name was picked for the clone requests it knew would follow.
Fletcher Watson crossed Sunset Sherbet with the Planet Purple F2 #144 male, the same stud behind Moon Glow and Lemon Cane V2, and aimed it squarely at the Gelato-era Californian market. By the breeder's account the progeny went on to become a staple for a number of commercial West Coast gardens, which is rare praise for a line sold as regular seed.
Most plants carry a big sherbet nose with candied Z notes on top. The rarer ones go the other way, into heavier Moonbow, Dosidos and OG terpenes.
The breeder talks about potency before anything else, crediting the Planet Purple male for large trichome heads and plants that test very high. The Sunset Sherbet mother line is reported by users as euphoric and happy before a mellow body calm, and is a favourite of medical users for stress and appetite.
Close to half the pack turns heavy purple, and the rest finish in mixed green and purple with autumn tones. Spec figures put flowering at 65 to 72 days with medium to high yields, indoors or out. The breeder's own advice to hunters is telling: the prize is the plant that is not fully purple but keeps the resin density and the test scores.
