Released in the late 1990s and still filed among the breeder's cup winners, Nebula is one of the Amsterdam sativas that never went out of print.

Paradise Seeds built it from Afghan Skunk and a stabilised Nebula cut. The Afghan Skunk side brings resin and dense flowers, while the Nebula cut supplies vigour, uniformity and the energetic head that made its name on the Dutch cup circuit.

Honey is the first thing on the nose, followed by soft fruit, and the breeder adds hints of mango and citrus over an earthy base. Once dried, the smoke turns smooth and sugary.

The onset is fast and cerebral: bright, chatty and creative, with some users describing a slightly trippy, psychedelic edge before a gentle body ease settles in. Medical users report it mainly for lifting mood, which makes it a daytime pick rather than a nightcap.

As a 60 percent sativa it stretches, so the breeder recommends training, strong light or a sea of green at around ten plants per square metre. Indoors it flowers in 8 to 9 weeks for up to 500 g/m². Outdoors it needs a temperate season with at least nine weeks of flowering before the first frost, and can give up to 750 g per plant in early October, the buds thick with resin.
