Named after the thick-skinned wild grape of the American South, Muscadine smells less like a cannabis plant and more like a freshly opened bottle of red.
Rare Dankness built it from two of its own lines: Rare Darkness, the house Grape Ape cross, and Pamelina, which carries the breeder's GSC Forum Cut and Rare Dankness #2. The breeder has since moved Muscadine to its retired list, so a sealed feminised pack is now a collector's piece rather than a catalogue staple.
Breeder notes point to black grapes and red wine with a thread of OG fuel underneath. On the palate it turns to tart berry and grape skin, finishing long and wine-like.
The breeder rates its potency as medium, which makes it a sociable, flavour-first smoke rather than a knockout. Little else has been published on the effect, so this is a pack chosen for taste and rarity more than raw strength.
In the garden it stays short and self-supporting, standing up without stakes and fitting small tents with ease. Flowering is quick, with the breeder giving 50 to 55 days, and the medium-sized buds finish dense and heavily frosted with resin. The breeder calls it easy work for new and experienced growers alike.
