Sturdy is not a word you often see in a hash breeder's notes, which is what makes this one worth a second look.
The mother is Limelight, a citrus clone also circulated under the name Fruit Stand, and the father is Grape Sunshine, the Secret Lemon x Tallymon selection at the heart of everything Common Wealth sells. Grape Sunshine was not much to look at in its first round, but it smelled of grape when nothing around it did, and it went on to wash at 9.2%. Crossing it into Limelight is about putting that resin behind a sharper, brighter cut.
The breeder's description has the dank citrus of the mother folding into the father's fruit to give a tropical citrus profile, lemon peel and juice rather than candy.
Effects have not been published by the breeder, and there are few reports from growers so far. Collectors buying it now are buying the parents and the flavour on paper.
In the garden the breeder calls the plants ultra sturdy and the flowers striking. Flowering is listed at 65 to 70 days, nine to ten weeks, with a medium to high yield and a fit for indoor or outdoor rooms.
