Key lime tart from the mother, grape resin from the father: Lime Whip sets a dessert clone on top of a plant chosen for how it washes.
Common Wealth took Key Lime Pie, a clone-only cut whose own parents have never been made public, and dusted her with reversed Grape Sunshine pollen. Grape Sunshine is Secret Lemon x Tallymon, picked as the number two plant from a run of about 50 seeds and later recorded washing at 9.2%. The idea behind the whole line is to carry that resin into cuts people already love for flavour.
The breeder describes a sweet and sour hybrid that ends on candy, the sharp lime of the mother laid over the grape and banana that Grape Sunshine is known for.
No effect notes have been published for this cross yet, and grower reports are still scarce. For now it is a pack collected for its parents, its terpenes and its resin, with the effect still to be written up.
The breeder calls it very stretchy, with most plants leaning towards the Grape Sunshine side. Buds stay tight and carry large resin heads, the trait this line was built around. Flowering runs 64 to 75 days, indoors or out, and yield is rated medium to high.
