Like a well-aged single malt, Ladyburn 1974 starts mellow and then keeps building.
Green House crossed Jack Herer with Ice Dream to make it, aiming for indica weight in an easy, generous plant. The breeder pitches it as strong, simple to grow and fine for newcomers, with a very good yield for the effort.
The breeder says little about the nose beyond calling it complex and true to both parents, and growers have shared little more, so this is a jar to judge for yourself.
The first wave is relaxed and heavy in the body, then it turns into a strong, climbing high that fades slowly. Green House lists pain relief among its reported medical uses.
Plants are vigorous and compact, with short internodes, big broad dark leaves and hard, thick stems, which suits a sea of green or a screen indoors. It needs about nine weeks of flower, with breeder figures up to 800 g/m² indoors and up to 1 kg a plant outdoors, harvested in the first weeks of October. Growers report thick, dense growth that wants thinning and steady airflow to keep mould away, and one who cloned it found cuttings rooted easily.
