Amnesia has a reputation for towering plants and a soaring head, and this version adds a Kush backbone to keep both in hand.
Paradise Seeds bred L.A. Amnesia for its collaboration with Tommy Chong, and it was released in 2017 as part of the Chong's Choice line alongside Blue Kush Berry and Mendocino Skunk. The breeder crossed Amnesia with Afghan Kush: Amnesia gives the energy and euphoria, while the Kush adds resin, density and weight.
Citrus and mango fill the room in flower. The dried buds are fruity with a subtle spice, and the smoke reads as a smooth citrus haze, with limonene and myrcene leading.
The high arrives as an energising, cerebral rush that lasts a long time before settling into a more relaxed, indica-like finish, and the breeder suggests it for experienced users. Medical users report it for focus, stress, tiredness and mood, and some mention appetite.
Plants grow over 120 cm indoors and build strong central colas, though the Afghan side stops the stretch running away. A high calyx-to-leaf ratio makes trimming quick. Buds finish dense and resin-heavy, so check them for mould in humid weather or after autumn rain. Flowering runs 65 to 70 days, with outdoor plants ready around mid-October.
