Cracked black pepper, lemon peel and pine needles are the first things out of the jar, and the Kush underneath arrives a beat later.
DNA Genetics built this from two Californian heavyweights: its own Kosher Kush, the Los Angeles clone-only OG that the breeder credits with Best Indica at the High Times Cannabis Cup in 2010 and 2011, and Girl Scout Cookies, the cut that set the tone for a decade of sweet, doughy hybrids. The cross lands at roughly 80% indica.
The breeder's own notes describe pine and lemon over a background of black pepper and warm spice. Growers add a softer, sweet dough edge on the exhale, which is the Cookies parent showing itself.
This is a calm, settled smoke rather than a racy one, according to the breeder, with a gentle lift at the start that sinks into the shoulders and stays there. Users tend to keep it for the evening and report it as a favourite for stress and for winding down after a long day, with some mentioning it for anxious moods.
In the garden it stays fairly compact and takes well to pruning and a trellis net, so it suits tents and small rooms. DNA lists 8 to 9 weeks of flower indoors and a medium yield of 300 to 400 g/m², with outdoor plants finishing between September and October. Growers report dense, orange-haired buds that can marble purple when nights turn cool.
