Knockout by Archive Seedbank

Archive has kept this Irene OG and Zkittlez selection for about ten years and admits it has never grown a perfect batch of her, which says plenty about both her quality and her temper.

The mother is Irene OG x Zkittlez #7, and Archive pollinated her with Flavor Pack, a group of five males from Hollywood Pure Kush and Moonbow F1. Sister selection #4 grows more easily, but the breeder says #7 passes on better flavour. The aim is a broad spread of profiles, with some plants kept back for Archive's own work and the rest released as twelve regular seeds.

Late in flower, as the leaves fade, the aroma jumps: deep, old-school Irene OG with OG fuel, bubba and hash plant, topped by a floral, rose-water edge from the Zkittlez side. Seedlings range from purple floral to chemical Kush to heavy bubba funk.

Archive publishes no effect notes for Knockout, and with five males in the mix the experience should vary as much as the flavour.

Its grower notes are frank. She is very sensitive to nitrogen, showing spiky growth, burnt tips and dark leaves when overfed, and rewards a lighter hand, finishing with dark purple leaves and mottled, camouflage-patterned flowers. Some seedlings may carry Irene OG quirks such as extra branches at the nodes, fused tips and odd clusters of flowers, which the breeder flags as possible hermaphrodite tendencies. A pack for experienced hands.

Archive Seed Bank was founded by Fletcher Watson, known on the forums as ThaDocta, and its Portland, Oregon store made it the first US seed vendor with a retail location.
