Yoghurt, honey and a dusting of cinnamon is not how most modern hybrids are described, and that dessert-counter oddness is why Gold Barz earns a place in a collection.
Holy Smoke Seeds bred it from Gold Drops, a Spritzer and Apples and Bananas cross with Runtz and Gelato in its past, and Dante's Inferno, which pairs Oreoz with Devil Driver. One side brings candy fruit, the other a darker, gassier cookie line, and the breeder rates the result highly for looks, balance and flavour all at once.
On the palate the breeder lists creamy yoghurt, honey and warm cinnamon, with pine and ripe guava coming through behind them.
The breeder's description is of a layered stone that opens clear and focused, leaving room to follow a thought through to the end before the body settles into something blissful and even. That focus is the trait the breeder singles out, and they also describe the strain as therapeutic, the kind of balanced hybrid some users keep for afternoons when they want calm without losing the thread.
Indica traits show in the plant. The breeder points to big, pronounced calyxes that take on colour well as the weeks run on, so the finished flowers look the part on the shelf. Flowering is about 8 weeks, the yield is listed as large, and it suits indoor or outdoor growing.
