Red wine is not a smell most growers expect from a jar, and that is exactly why Conscious Genetics kept the Rose mother.
Rose is the breeder's own selection, built from Tangie crossed to a Huckleberry Soda and Conscious Kush V1 hybrid, and kept for her layered, wine-like terpenes. She was then dusted with pollen from the reversed Sour Apple Runtz clone, itself a Runtz cut crossed to a reversed Lumpy's Apple Fritter. It sits in the same family as the house's purple Kush work, bred with a clear eye on extraction.
The breeder describes red wine depth lifted by creamy sweetness, with musky, leathery tones underneath. Some phenotypes may also carry the doughy apple pastry of the Fritter side.
The effect, in the breeder's words, is heavy and relaxing, suited to quiet, inward-looking evenings. This is a pack for winding down, not for a busy afternoon.
Plants stay short to medium, so it fits comfortably under a light or in a small tent. Flowering runs 8.5 to 9 weeks with average yields, and the Sour Apple Runtz side brings thick resin that washers and pressers will appreciate. Outdoors it finishes around October.
