Four Prophets opens with grape so loud it fills a room, a gift from its 3X Crazy mother.
DNA Genetics crossed 3X Crazy, an indica-heavy cut also known as Insane OG, with Kosher Kush, the house's award-winning indica. 3X Crazy brings grape and earth, Kosher Kush brings fruit, weight and deep calm, and together they throw so many terpenes that extract makers have taken notice.
Grape leads the first draws, backed by a mellow citrus scent and, for some tasters, mint, blueberry, apple or pineapple, with a slightly bitter, musky finish. Myrcene and caryophyllene sit at the core, with limonene and terpinolene adding the bright edge.
For an indica-dominant cross, the start is surprisingly cerebral and euphoric, and some users find it creative enough for the daytime, before a relaxed come-down that eases the way to sleep. Users report it for stress, fatigue and muscle spasms; expect a dry mouth.
It grows well indoors and outdoors and gives impressive, resinous plants even for less experienced growers, though outdoor plants want plenty of sun and shelter from heavy rain and wind late in flower. The breeder gives 8 to 9 weeks of flowering, 16 to 18 oz/m², roughly 450 to 510 g/m², and THC of 22 to 26 per cent.
