Dark chocolate is a rare note in cannabis, and Rare Dankness built a whole cross around it.

The breeder started with a strong Malawi landrace, crossed it with Cindy 99, the bright, haze-tinged Cinderella 99, and then brought in Scott's OG, its own Triangle Kush and Rare Dankness #1 creation. African landrace, a classic sativa-leaning hybrid and a Colorado OG, all in one pack.

The breeder describes a rich dark-chocolate profile lifted by a hint of fragrant spice, a long way from the usual fuel and fruit.

No effect notes are published for this cross, so the parents are the best guide: the breeder calls Scott's OG extremely potent, while Cindy 99 is known for a clear, upbeat head. The likely result sits somewhere between the two, and finding out where is half the fun for a collector.

Rare Dankness rates it easy to grow and a standout in the greenhouse, where good airflow and a drier climate bring out full, dense colas and multicoloured flowers. Flowering runs 60 to 65 days by the breeder's figure and yields are medium to high. It still matures in cooler regions, though plants stay smaller there.
