Chocolate, vanilla and sweet berry over a gassy core: C.T.S stands for Chocolate Truffle Shuffle, and it tastes like the name.

DNA Genetics crossed Chocolope Kush, one of its award-winning lines, with GPK, its cross of Gorilla Glue and Pure Kush. The cocoa and vanilla that made the Chocolope family famous come through here more quietly, wrapped in heavier Kush genetics and a sugary profile that has made it a 420 favourite.

In flower the plants smell of gas and fruit with hints of vanilla and cocoa, and earthier tones take over by harvest. Sweet berry leads on the inhale, and the exhale balances sugar with fuel before a chocolate and fruit dessert aftertaste.

The breeder describes a strong cerebral start, hazy and euphoric, followed by a warm body calm and serious munchies. It is a favourite of medical users for stress and an unsettled mood, and it suits the evening.

This is a forgiving photoperiod plant that shrugs off small mistakes, in soil or hydro, indoors or out. Flowering takes about 9 weeks, and the breeder gives yields of 14 to 16 oz per square metre, roughly 400 to 450 g/m². The breeder publishes THC at 15 to 21%.

DNA Genetics, the Amsterdam house started by Los Angeles breeders Don and Aaron, is also the name behind Chocolope, Tangie and Holy Grail Kush.
