Buddha Tahoe OG by The Cali Connection

The breeder's own note on this one is blunt: Buddha Tahoe is Louis XIII by another name, the famous OG clone from the hills and valleys of Los Angeles.

For these feminised seeds The Cali Connection set that clone against a reversed male from its own Tahoe OG S1, keeping the whole cross inside the OG family the house is known for. The selection placed third at the 2011 High Times Cannabis Cup in Amsterdam, and growers also record a tall, stretchy, sativa-leaning phenotype that finishes quickly.

The breeder sums up the nose as zesty lemon laid over earthy hash, and the Louis side brings the lemon, fuel and kerosene edge that made its name.

Onset is fast and the effect lasts for hours, starting bright in the head before settling into a heavy, relaxed calm that the breeder links to sleep. Users report it as an evening choice for stress, headaches and general aches.

Expect an OG with more muscle than most: thicker stems, broader leaves and conical colas that carry real weight, with growers describing very dense, hard buds and a good ratio of bud to leaf.
