The breeder says this is the most resinous plant its team has ever seen, a big claim from a house that has been selecting plants since 1993.
Bubblebananagum pairs the Original Bubblegum, prized for its sweetness and heavy resin, with a Banana Pudding F2 male picked for hard branches, resilience and terpenes. The goal was density, aroma and resin in one plant, and the outcome leans slightly to the sativa side at 55 to 45.
Think foamy banana sweets dusted in sugar, then a wash of pink bubblegum and soft caramel, the sort of nose that fills a room as soon as the jar opens.
The breeder describes a smooth, positive and mellow high that relaxes the body while keeping you chatty, so it works for daytime and for company. Expect conversation rather than a nap: this is a talkative, sociable strain, not a sleepy one.
Plants reach medium height with plenty of strong side branches that hold heavy buds without bending, and well-spaced internodes let light in. The breeder calls it vigorous and easy, notes that it prefers a light feed, and says its moderately dense flowers resist mould well. Untopped it can sprawl into a big, wild tree; topped, it gives more main colas. Flowering takes 54 to 58 days for 450 to 550 g per square metre, and the deep green buds are sticky, quick to trim and made for hash.
