Capulator, the breeder behind MAC, admits in his own description that this line will not win a beauty contest, and that honesty is part of its pull.
Black Pine, which the breeder lists as Black Pine Reserve, crosses Black Lime Reserve with a pine-leaning male called Pine Cone Jones. It sits well away from the cookie and gelato work that made Capulator famous: he calls it old school, praises the smoke itself, and says a few strong phenotypes hide in the mix. As a ten-seed regular pack it holds both sexes, the format serious collectors and breeders tend to prize.
The nose is mostly sharp, sour and gassy, built around a pungent lime, with a thin line of pine coming through from the father.
Capulator publishes no formal effect notes. Growers report a balanced, relaxing indica with a distinctly old-school character, the kind of smoke the breeder himself rates more highly than its looks.
In the breeder's own run every plant grew big, carrying the stretch of the pine side over a frame he compares to Sour D, with some variation from plant to plant. He admits the buds look plainer than his MAC 1 or Cap Junky, and judging by their indoor size he expects them to do very well outside. No flowering window has been published, and the yield is rated medium to high.

Capulator, breeding since 1996 and famously private about who he is, made his name with MAC, a cross of Alien Cookies F2 and the Miracle 15 that survived a trip through a washing machine.
