Buds shaped like small apples, streaked green, yellow, red and almost black, with a smell like apple candy stirred into gelato.
Black Apple Hitchcock comes from the T.H. Seeds Bastards Line and crosses Grape OG with Sour Apple IBL. It first appeared as a limited regular release and proved popular enough that the breeder brought it back in feminised form.
The breeder describes creamy apple candy and gelato, and growers pick out a fruity, candied finish that lingers.
The high is mellow and calming, with a creative lift in the head that stays manageable, which makes it an easy companion for a long evening. Medical users report it for pain relief and relaxation.
This is a medium to tall plant of 120 to 160 cm, with most testers finishing at 130 to 140 cm, open internodes for airflow and big, colourful leaves without much leafy clutter. Topped several times it turns chunky, the side flowers fill out well for an easy trim, and the breeder lists good resistance to mould and insects. Bloom runs 8 to 9 weeks for 450 to 600 g/m², and the resin is plentiful enough for water hash and dry sift.
