The first release from the T.H. Seeds Bastards Line, and a banana strain that grows like a workhorse.
The Bastards Line is a breeding programme between Shiloh in California and Julien, the house's lead European breeder, and its brief was simple: banana terpenes, easy growth, plenty of resin. Banana Candy Krush answers it by crossing Banana Cake with Banana OG, two sugary parents with OG and Kush blood behind them.
The breeder describes ripe banana with cream, pie crust and sugar on top, all carried by a Kush backbone.
Though it leans 65% sativa, the breeder lists a strong body effect, deep relaxation and better sleep, while some users describe a clear, creative head that lingers after the flavour fades. Medical users report it for evening aches and rest.
Bloom is quick for a sativa-leaning plant at 8 to 9 weeks, with 550 to 650 g/m² and a height of 140 to 160 cm on breeder figures. It takes well to topping and a screen, and outdoors the breeder rates it resistant to pests and cold, with room to grow very large. Chunky light green buds flecked with darker green finish under a heavy frost, trim easily and, the breeder says, make very good hash.
