Auto Super Critical by Green House Seed Co.

Big Bud weight, Skunk sweetness and White Widow frost, compressed into a plant that rarely tops a metre.

Green House describes the photoperiod Super Critical as a Spanish classic, and this is its own reworking of that plant on a ruderalis base. The genetics read Big Bud x Skunk x White Widow x ruderalis, landing at about 80% indica with 10% each of sativa and ruderalis.

The smoke is rich and heavy, with hearty sweetness on top; the breeder calls the flavour flowery and sweet with a sulphurous edge, and growers add metal, rose and jasmine. Myrcene, alpha-pinene and humulene lead the profile.

This one hits fast and stays physical, with a narcotic weight and a very relaxing finish that suits late evenings. The breeder's notes point to its use by medical users for pain relief.

Plants are medium-sized and strong, around 80 to 90 cm outdoors, with long branches, big buds and dense calyxes thick with trichomes. Leaves start dark green and fade to light brown at maturity. The breeder singles out its resistance to mould, pests and swings in temperature, rates it for sea of green, and gives about seven weeks of bloom under 12 to 18 hours of light. Expect around 450 g/m² indoors and up to 80 g a plant outside, where it can be started year-round above 10°C.
