Overripe banana and strawberry syrup, a squeeze of citrus, then a dank, diesel snap the moment it is lit.
DNA Genetics made MacNana by taking their original Strawberry Banana, the line that gave so many modern fruit strains their sweetness, and pollinating it with the newer MAC Auto. The breeder bills it as a leading light among their fruity autos, and it was bred to pile on resin, which makes it a favourite with hash and concentrate makers who want a short turnaround.
Expect tropical banana and tart strawberry first, a zesty limonene layer behind, and the sweet, floral MAC note on the finish, with the odd sour pop.
The high starts in the head, creative and bright, then eases into a relaxed body; the breeder says it stays clear of couch lock at moderate doses but can sedate at higher ones. Users report strong munchies, and it is reported by medical users for lifting mood and stirring a flagging appetite.
Plants stay compact and bushy at a manageable medium height, a good fit for tents. DNA lists 8 to 9 weeks of flowering, with indoor yields of 14 to 19 oz per square metre, roughly 400 to 540 g/m², and 2 to 9 oz per plant outdoors. Resin coverage is the headline at harvest.
