strawberry-og-the-cali-connection
Strawberry OG by The Cali Connection

Strawberry lemonade from a plant that looks every inch an OG is a rare thing, and The Cali Connection took two generations to get there.

The breeder began with Bruce Banner #3, the Colorado heavyweight, and crossed it to its own SFV OG Kush F4. One plant from that cross stood apart, OG in form and strawberry in smell, and it was outcrossed to Tahoe OG Kush S1, the house's signature line, to produce these feminised seeds. The same plant has since become a parent in its own right, behind Red Berry Tartz and Strawberry Tiramisu.

In the breeder's words the profile is strawberry and lemon pie, with very high terpene levels. Growers also pick up a pine note beneath the ripe berry, and the fruit carries cleanly through the smoke.

Bruce Banner supplies a fast, euphoric start that suits creative work, then Tahoe OG arrives with a heavy body feel and calm that lasts. It leans slightly sativa overall, and night-time users report it helps them settle when sleep is slow to come.

Plants are robust and easy to run, reaching medium height with a Bruce Banner frame and an OG finish. The breeder gives a quick 63 to 68 days of flower, which it calls very fast for the type, and yields land in the medium to large range. The smell is loud, so growers recommend carbon filtration indoors.

Lineage

(Bruce Banner #3 x SFV OG Kush F4) x Tahoe OG Kush S1

Type

Hybrid, slightly sativa-leaning

Seed type

Feminised

Flowering time

63 to 68 days

Yield

Medium to large

Indoor/outdoor

Indoor and outdoor

Terpenes

Strawberry, lemon and pine

THC

Not published

Bred by The Cali Connection, whose Tahoe OG Kush line placed at the 2011 High Times awards in Amsterdam.

Collector's notice: this pack is sold as a sealed souvenir and novelty item for adults aged 18 and over.
