pineapple-chunk-barneys-farm
Pineapple Chunk by Barneys Farm

Cheese funk and ripe pineapple rarely share a jar, and this cross makes the pairing look easy.

Barney's Farm crossed its Sweet Pineapple with a Cheese and Skunk #1 line, bringing in the famously pungent Cheese that came out of the UK scene. The breeder describes the result as extremely vigorous, stable, and resistant to mould and disease, and it carries the house's Cup Winner badge.

Open the jar and it is earthy, cheesy skunk first, with sweet pineapple rising behind it. The smoke tastes of pineapple and pine over that savoury base, and the fruit stays on the palate afterwards.

The breeder describes a euphoric, creative start that eases into a relaxing, mood-steadying body effect and, in the end, real couch-lock. Growers rate it strong and long-lasting, and it has a reputation for raising an appetite, which points it towards the evening.

This is an indica-dominant plant, around 80 per cent, that moves quickly. Breeder figures put indoor flowering at 55 to 60 days, for 550 to 650 g/m² from plants of 90 to 110 cm. Outdoors it reaches 120 to 150 cm and can give up to 1 kg a plant by the third or fourth week of September. Buds come in heavy and dense, and growers report that some phenotypes stretch more than expected and need support late in bloom.

Lineage

Sweet Pineapple x (Cheese x Skunk #1)

Type

Indica dominant, 80% indica, 20% sativa

Seed type

Feminised

Flowering time

55 to 60 days

Yield

550 to 650 g/m² indoors, up to 1,000 g per plant outdoors

Indoor/outdoor

Indoor and outdoor

THC

28% (breeder figure)

Pineapple Chunk comes from Barney's Farm, the Amsterdam house whose Cannabis Cup winners include G13 Haze, Liberty Haze and Cookies Kush.

Collector's notice: this pack is sold as a sealed souvenir and novelty item for adults aged 18 and over.
