mon-cherry-t-h-seeds
Mon Cherry by T.H. Seeds

Cherry terpenes are famously hard to hold on to, so T.H. Seeds went looking for a plant that would not let them go.

The starting point was an L.A. Kush Cake x Animal Mints x Sour Cherry Sherbet phenotype handed to the Amsterdam team at Spannabis in 2022. The nose stopped them cold, but the plant grew tall with too few side branches, so they crossed it with their own Pure Afghan to tighten the frame.

Picture sour cherry sweets with the sugar coating still on, tart and sugary at once, with a cool streak of mint running under the fruit. The breeders liken the taste to Sour Patch Kids, and the mint hangs on after the exhale.

On paper it leans sativa at 60 to 40, yet the breeder's description puts the effect squarely in indica territory: heavy, calm and settled in the body. Save it for the evening; the breeder lists stress relief and full body relaxation among its reported effects.

Expect a Christmas tree that grows wide first and then reaches upward, with plenty of internodes and few leaves. The breeder suggests topping once and leaving it be, for a finished height of 110 to 150 cm and 500 to 550 g per square metre over 8 to 9 weeks. Buds finish dense, dark green to deep purple under white resin, trim fast and need 12 to 15 days to dry before jarring.

Lineage

(L.A.
