mix-1-6-coloured-female-hemp-seeds-dutch-passion
Mix 1 - 6 Coloured Female hemp seeds by Dutch Passion

Most seed packs hold one variety. This one holds six coloured seeds, and that is exactly why collectors hunt for it.

Mix 1 is one of Dutch Passion's assortment packs: six feminised seeds from the breeder's own range, each one coloured, sealed together in a single pack. Dutch Passion says it was the company that brought feminised seed to the market in the 1990s, so a mixed pack of feminised seed from this house is a small piece of that history.

Assortments like this have an appeal that a single-strain pack cannot match. Rather than one profile, they offer a cross-section of the breeder's style, and the coloured seeds make the pack a curiosity to look at as much as to hold.

Because the seeds are feminised, the breeder's intent is that every one should produce a female plant. That is the whole point of the method Dutch Passion pioneered: no sorting, no wasted space, and every seed counting.

What sits behind each colour is down to the breeder's selection for this mix, and traits such as flowering time, size and yield will vary from seed to seed. For a collector it is a sealed record of how an Amsterdam house that has worked since the 1970s chose to present its range, and a natural companion to Mix 2.

Lineage

Assorted Dutch Passion varieties

Type

Mixed

Seed type

Feminised

Flowering time

Varies by variety

Yield

Varies by variety

Indoor/outdoor

Varies by variety

Terpenes

Varies by variety

THC

Varies by variety

Dutch Passion of Amsterdam says it invented feminised seed in the 1990s, and its catalogue includes Skywalker Haze, Frisian Dew and Orange Bud.

Collector's notice: this pack is sold as a sealed souvenir and novelty item for adults aged 18 and over.
