auto-snow-storm-2-dutch-passion
Auto Snow Storm #2 by Dutch Passion

The name comes from harvest day, when the buds look as though they have been caught out in a blizzard.

Dutch Passion built SnowStorm #2 from its most prized Orange Bud female, a powerful Skunk selection dating from the 1980s, and crossed it with a compatible Ruderalis. The aim was simple: a classic Skunk that flowers on its own. The breeder has since discontinued it and now points growers to Auto Orange Bud, so packs of the original AutoFem are a find for anyone collecting the house's back catalogue.

Tasting notes from the breeder were short, calling it sweet and tasty. With Orange Bud and Skunk #1 in the background, this is old school sweet Skunk rather than modern dessert candy.

The effect was described as powerful, and the breeder later tagged it as sativa in character, suggesting an active, talkative Skunk buzz rather than a heavy stone.

In the garden it looks like a compact indica: one large central cola heavy with resin, ringed by ten or more shorter blooms that swell as harvest nears. Seed to harvest runs about 10 weeks. Most plants stay under a metre, though hydro runs can pass it, and the breeder notes experienced growers taking 125 to 150 g of dry bud per plant, indoors or out.

Lineage

Orange Bud x Ruderalis

Type

Ruderalis hybrid, compact indica structure

Seed type

Feminised autoflower

Flowering time

About 10 weeks from seed

Yield

Up to 125 to 150 g per plant

Indoor/outdoor

Indoor and outdoor

Terpenes

Not published

THC

Not published

One of the world's oldest seedbanks, Dutch Passion traces its work to 1970s Amsterdam, and its Orange Bud remains a catalogue mainstay alongside Skywalker Haze and Frisian Dew.

Collector's notice: this pack is sold as a sealed souvenir and novelty item for adults aged 18 and over.
