alpine-strawberry-the-cali-connection
Alpine Strawberry by The Cali Connection

Banana first, then deep berry, then an earthy hash finish that the breeder says hangs on the palate long after the last draw.

The Cali Connection built Alpine Strawberry from Strawberry Banana, out of the DNA Genetics stable, and a reversed Strawberry OG from its own catalogue. Strawberry OG is itself Bruce Banner #3 crossed with SFV OG Kush F4, then outcrossed to Tahoe OG Kush S1, so the house's signature OG sits quietly in the background. The breeder pitches it squarely at extract makers, expecting some of the sweetest concentrates in its range.

On the nose it is banana-led and intense, with ripe berry layered over a darker, hashy earth.

Effects are the open question. The breeder's notes stay on flavour and structure, grower reports are still thin, and collectors buying now are buying the terpene profile and the chance to be early.

Structure is the other selling point. Plants build an impressive central kola that can carry heavy weight, backed by strong side branching, and the breeder describes the line as easy to grow and easy to clone. Training is recommended to fill the canopy and push yield, and the breeder rates that yield high. Flowering takes 69 to 74 days, a little longer than the classic OGs in the family, indoors or outdoors.

Lineage

Strawberry Banana x Strawberry OG (reversed)

Type

Hybrid

Seed type

Feminised

Flowering time

69 to 74 days

Yield

High

Indoor/outdoor

Indoor and outdoor

Terpenes

Banana, berry and earthy hash

THC

Not published

The Cali Connection has bred in Los Angeles since 2008 under Swerve, and its signature Tahoe OG Kush placed at the 2011 High Times awards in Amsterdam.

Collector's notice: this pack is sold as a sealed souvenir and novelty item for adults aged 18 and over.
